PROESA Procesos Electroforéticos S.A de C.V. is a 100% mexican company belonging to the industries division of the Protexa Group.
PROESA began operations in 1987 with a modest, rustic furnace and a small paint shop. The company operated its first 8 months under these conditions, but with a team of talented people committed to the vision and mission of the company, and believing firmly in what they were doing, striving to be considered as a supplier by the major companies in the automotive industry.
That same year, General Motors Company decided that the talent, attitude and tenacity of those people who began work at PROESA was sufficient reason to support them with training in quality systems and statistical controls. That was the beginning of the services provided to GM, painting motor valve covers, carters and chassis supports for them.
Back then, the Electrophoresis Processes were manual and the company only had some 48 employees. Two years later, a one-hectare plot of land was purchased in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico, where PROESA is currently located.
The San Luis Potosi plant was inaugurated in the year 2000, using Electrophoresis Processes for metallic pieces and Liquid Paint for plastic pieces.
Today our plants in Ramos Arizpe and San Luis Potosi have totally automated and robotized Electrophoresis, Powder and Liquid paint processes that successfully comply with the quality requirements of a great number of customers in the automotive, electronics and white goods industries.
